Argentina star Lionel Messi has expressed caution ahead of his side’s World Cup qualifier inBolivia on Tuesday night.

Despite currently enjoying a four-point lead over second-placed Colombia at the top of Conmebol’s qualification, with Bolivia second-from-bottom, the Argentine attacker refused to accept the encounter as easy.

“We have achieved nothing yet. We are playing Bolivia and they are hard to surpass,” he told reporters on Monday.

The 25-year-old then reminded of the Albiceleste’s last World Cup qualifier in Bolivia ahead of the South Africa tournament, which saw the South American giants thrashed 6-1.

“Everybody knows what happened last time so we are hopeful to clinch a positive result.”

Argentina are travelling to the Estadio Hernando Siles to kick-off with Bolivia on March 26, 21.00CET.
